Parents,
Thank you for supporting our recent Bag Pack at Supervalu and local Flag Day. Thanks to your generosity we raised €3072, a great achievement! A special word of thanks to our volunteers who gave generously of their own time. All your support is much appreciated. St.Corban's P.T.A. This year St.Corban’s made a huge effort to collect in aid of our school and ISPCC. This year the top 4 classes with the most bags are: joint fourth, Mr. Lane 5th class and Ms. Kelly 5th class with 40 bags. Third place goes to Mr.D O’Connor 6th class with 51 bags. Second Ms. Butler 4th class with 58 bags, and first place with a landslide of 95 bags... Ms. Behan 6th class! Well done to everyone who supported St.Corban’s to help us fill the van. Information about weight will be posted in the near future. Photos (below) by Eoghan, article by Daniel, St. Corban's Media Team.
The note below, from the Parent/Teacher Association, will be sent home with the children this week. If you're interested in volunteering on any of the days please fill in the appropriate information and return it to your child's teacher by Wednesday 23rd October. Thank you for your continued support.
As a special end of year treat the PTA very kindly invited all students and staff out to the yard today for ice-cream! The excitement was palpable when the familiar jingle of the ice-cream van rang throughout the school grounds. Eager children (and even more eager adults) took to the yard for a tasty treat, well earned after a tough year's work. A big thank you to everyone on the PTA for organising this special event!
