Bhí ceolchoirm iontach againn arís le haghaidh Seachtain na Gaeilge. Míle buíochas le Mr. Nugent, Ms. B. Dunne, Marie agus na buachaillí go léir.

Bhí Lá Glas agus Céilí Mór againn ar scoil Dé hAoine seo caite! Féach ar na pictiúirí iontacha thíos. Céilí sa chlós Lá Glas sna ranganna Ceolchoirm2015 from St. Corban's B.N.S. on Vimeo. Céili Seachtain na Gaeilge was last week and the céili was amongst the activities being held in St.Corban’s. You could see the buzz of excitement as the music rang in our ears. To many of us it didn’t matter if you could dance it just meant having fun. We did the damsha mór and the siege of Ennis. There were loud claps in the damhsa mór and laughs in the siege of Ennis. Seachtain na Gaeilge was great fun especially the céili. By Daniel Anthony When my class was told that a lady was coming in to do Irish with us everybody groaned. But when actually came everyone was happily surprised that the lady was lovely. She introduced herself as Rosalee and told us that she was there on behalf of a group named Imaginosity. Imaginosity are a group who try to make learning Irish as fun as possible. She told us some words that we would hear in the story she was about to play on C.D just in case we didn’t know what they meant. About ten minutes into the story we were allowed to draw / colour pictures which related to the story. It was great fun and everyone really enjoyed it (especially our own teacher who was probably glad to get a rare moment of peace and quiet in our class!) All in all it was a great fun and I wish that we did that every week! By David Connolly. Photos from Lá Glas
