We celebrated Safer Internet Day at St. Corban's on the 9th of February, alongside many schools nationwide. An awareness of Internet Safety and Cyberbullying has become vital in recent times with the growth of Internet access, usage and social media. To raise awareness at St. Corban's, the ICT Team ran a school art competition. The children from 1st to 5th classes were asked to work in pairs to come up with a slogan and a picture that depicts Internet Safety and Cyberbullying. Congratulations to Fionn & Edward (1st class), Cillian & Luke (3rd class) and Michael & Tadhg (5th class) who created the winning entries and each won a €10 Smyths gift card. More information on Internet Safety can be found at www.webwise.ie.
