Yesterday, the second class boys went on their school tour. Below you can read Cormac Geissel's and Conor McGrane's thoughts on the day!
5th Class enjoyed a wonderful school tour last Thursday. The weather was fantastic all day and the boys enjoyed bowling, a break at the Papal Cross in Phoenix Park and an action packed afternoon at Fort Lucan. Last Friday Ms. Behan’s and Mr. Ryan’s class went to the Anne Frank expedition (Mr. Rock's and Mr. O'Connor's went on Thursday). It was a really good day out as we were learning all about World War II. First we went on the bus after little break and drove to Dublin. We were a little early so we had lunch in a park near Pearse Street. After that we went into the library and watched a documentary about all the people hiding in the annex. Then once it was over we were brought into the other section where there was information on the walls. Once we were finished that we had a quiz about racism. I really enjoyed the day out as I learned a lot about Anne Frank. Article by Eoghan S, photos by Eoghan K, St. Corban's Media Team.
