Monday 27th April

Good Morning boys, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. It’s a brand new week of remote learning and we have some really fun stuff to learn this week!

This week we will have some new learning in Maths and English. We will be covering Weight in Maths and  a new writing genre in English. Remember that genre means a type of writing. Can you think of the other two writing genre’s we have learned already this year? Its recount and report writing- well done! The new genre we are learning is procedure – it’s my favourite! J. If you don't get time to get all your work completed this week, that's OK. But please focus on these two topics before your other work.

I'm also asking all boys to send me one or two pieces of work this week. This might be the work you're most proud of, the work you enjoyed doing the most or the work you found a bit challenging. Please send me your pieces on or before Thursday so I can upload it for Friday.

I am so proud of you all and I miss you all loads,

Ms. Cronin

I wanted to give you a treat today- You have NO WORK to do for me today Yippee! All I want is that you do something nice for someone in your family. Dear Parent/Guardians,
Daffodil  Day is a very significant day for our school. You may be aware that, this year, the Irish Cancer Society has cancelled all public fundraising due to the outbreak of Covid-19. This is the first time in a number of years that we are unable to fundraise as a school. Fortunately, those who wish to donate can do so online and our staff members have already made personal contributions. We understand the extremely difficult circumstances at this time  but we would encourage anyone who has a spare few euro to go online and donate what you can to this great cause.
