We are excited to announce that St. Corban’s has been invited to participate in The Dream Space Showcase this year.
This initiative gives children the opportunity to learn Coding using chromebooks, iPads and micro:bits. The boys will also get a chance to showcase their coding project at the end of the programme, at Microsoft Ireland, in May 2026.
The boys in our Coding Club have been invited to participate in this initiative, and the programme runs each week in our computer room with Ms. Pearson. Participation offers valuable STEM experiences fostering computational thinking, coding skills, ongoing micro:bit use and skill development.
On Friday, 30th January, we were delighted to welcome Olivia Diamond, Dream Space Data Centre Learning Specialist, to lead a micro:bit workshop in our computer room. It was a fantastic learning experience for our children. Olivia presented Mr. Drewett & Ms. Pearson with resource kits, micro:bits, accessories, a laptop and more.
We look forward to use these fantastic resources as we continue to participate in The Dream Space Showcase Programme, and will be of great benefit to all the children in our school, enhancing our STEM and Coding lessons going forward.
