Parents’ Association

In St Corban’s we are fortunate to have a very active, co-operative and supportive Parents’ Association.

The involvement of the Parents’ Association enables the school to enrich the experiences of the pupils by providing activities that are value-added. Their great work is reflected in the fantastic fundraising and equipment that they have provided for the school over the years. They have funded and organised ICT equipment such as iPads & Chromebooks, interactive flat-screens in each classroom, sports gear, ice-cream van visit and treats at Christmas. They support school initiatives such as our school concerts, school graduations and school raffles. The members of the Parents’ Association sometimes contribute to the formulation of school policy documents in their capacity as partners in education. Their generous contributions enhance every aspect of school life in St Corban’s.

The Parents’ Association promotes the interests of the pupils in cooperation with the Board of Management, the Principal and the staff. It is elected every year in September/October at the annual general meeting. All parents are invited to attend and to become involved in the school. The Principal or his representative is an ex-officio member of the committee.
