At St. Corban’s, we are committed to providing a diverse and engaging educational experience for our students by incorporating various themed weeks throughout the academic year. These special weeks help to enrich our curriculum and foster a well-rounded education. For example, during Friendship Week, our students learn the importance of building strong connections and supporting one another. Science Week and Maths Week spark curiosity in these subjects, while Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrates Irish language and culture. Catholic Schools Week, St. Brigid’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day honour our religious and national traditions, and World Book Day encourages a love for reading. Internet Safety Week educates our students on the responsible use of technology, and Wellness/Wellbeing Month focuses on promoting physical and mental health.
By dedicating time to these themes, we promote social and cultural awareness and empower our students to explore and celebrate the various aspects of learning, tradition, and personal growth.
