On the 1st of March, one of our 5th classes, Ms. Ahern’s class, attended the Science Blast event in the RDS. This was a wonderful opportunity for the boys to proudly showcase their work on their rocket experiment. The day itself was thoroughly enjoyable but the lead up and development of the project was very fruitful as a learning experience as well as being great fun! We loved investigating our question…and we learnt lots about gathering data in our investigations. We received very positive feedback from the judges who were present on the day.
Heartfelt thanks to Ms. Ahern for her hard work in planning and preparing for the special occasion but also for her time and effort in coordinating the teaching of Science in our school.
